The investment was structured to support the developer with an additional layer of funding in addition to that received from their senior bank. This enabled the developer to maximise their returns while providing an opportunity for the Occasio Fund investor to achieve a greater risk adjusted return. 

The development was based on split contracts and therefore the funding supported the land construction and delivery only. This allowed the investors to achieve significant returns in a short period of time while supporting the developer to increase their equity IRR.
