Richard leads Occasio’s fund management and investment governance functions, focussed on developing and optimising fund and investment strategies across assessment, structuring and management stages. As part of his role, he is a key member of Occasio’s Investment Committee.

Richard joined Occasio in 2017 and brings over 20 years’ professional experience in Australian, UK and European investment markets to the Occasio business, and the development and delivery of our funds. He has worked with listed and unlisted investment management groups and funds across asset classes including direct property, corporate lending, private debt, listed equity and venture capital.

Prior to Occasio, Richard’s career spanned professional services (EY), property (FTSE 250 listed developer / operator), corporate strategy (ANZ) and commercial lending (ANZ’s Corporate & Commercial Banking division). As such, he brings a wide-angled perspective and skillset gained from institutional, corporate and private trading businesses, asset owners and professional advisors.

Richard is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Property Asset Management Industry Diploma.
