Gerard Bowshall (Gerry) has over 40 years’ experience in banking and finance across both domestic and international banking institutions, specialising in property investment and construction finance. Most recently, he spent 10 years with Bendigo Bank, including nine as Chief Executive Officer of its Private Banking Services division. Prior to that, he spent over 30 years across the Midland Bank (UK) Group and the NAB group, including with Bank of New Zealand (Australia) and the NAB Property Finance Group.

Gerry’s practice spans commercial finance, investment and development property lending, and credit structuring. He works closely with accountants, solicitors, valuers and quantity surveyors, analysing complex transactions. He brings this breadth of lending experience, and a considered view of credit and risk, to Occasio’s Investment Committee as an independent member.

He holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from RMIT University.
