Ray is the founding owner of Occasio, and has over 25 years’ of experience in finance, funds management and advisory. His passion is to structure and deliver exceptional outcomes to complex situations and exceed expectations to customers.

Prior to establishing Occasio in 2016, Ray has held senior global positions including Global Chief Operating Officer, ANZ bank’s Corporate Finance division; Head of ANZ Alternative Assets business, Chief Investment Officer of an Australian property development business, and, prior to moving to Australia, established a strong track record in trading derivatives in London.

His diverse business knowledge with deep commercial acumen is complemented with experience and track record in leading both listed and unlisted investment funds across asset classes including property, private equity, structured debt and infrastructure. Ray’s partnership ethos is key to the Occasio brand and relationships.
